Rasta West Indian Hot Pepper Seeds

Approximately 30 seeds Capsicum chinense or Roccotillo chilli. Originally from Trinidad in the West Indies, but grown in Jamaica and brought to Australia over thirty years ago. VERY HOT but has a unique and wonderful flavour.
These hot pepper seeds are sown in Spring and grow over the Summer. In colder temperatures they will die of over Winter, but on the North Coast of New South Wales Australia in the coastal districts, it will grow right through Winter. It is very hardy and can take some tough treatment.
This is a frost tender plant and is planted in Spring after all danger of frost has passed. In hot climates it is a sparse short lived perennial bush up to one metre. Chillis will cross pollinate with other chillis so if you want to keep your special variety pure or true to type only grow one variety per season in a small garden.
