Mutabaruka was born in Kingston Jamaica in 1952. He is a Rastafarian Revolutionary Poet and Activist and his work covers many aspects and subjects. Intelligent, informed observant and experienced he tells a story of black people living in the ghetto, rastafarians way of life and value system and religious hypocrisy.
