The Gladiators are one of the most enduring original real roots, rock reggae bands. The trio Albert Griffiths, David Webber and Errol Grandison formed in 1968 in Trenchtown Jamaica.They recorded Hello Carol in Studio One and it topped the charts in 1968. In 1970 the recorded the hits Freedom Train, Rock a Man, Soul Roots, Natty Bongo Red, and Jah Jah go before us. In 2005 the Gladiators recorded their new Father and Sons album recorded in Jamaica and still faithful to their roots compositions delivering reggae music full of heart, force and courage. His sons carry on his musical legacy and have already garnered tremendous response touring throughout Europe, Brazil, the South Pacific and Australia to as many as 70,000 fans in mostly sold-out shows. They are poised and ready to spread their message to the rest of the world.
