Fat Freddys Drop is a super group of New Zealand musical talent. Their music is influenced by heavy funk, deviant jazz, deep dub and skanking roots reggae. This group is high tech soul. DJ Fitchie aka Mu is rated New Zealands premier producer and as a leader of the countries most uncompromising band, he drives the Freddys pace from his MPC2000 sampler, mashing up bouncing beats and bottom heavy bass lines for each tune that is a journey within a journey.
