Bob Marley,often referred to as Nesta is a Jamaican rasta reggae musician. He was brilliant and dedicated to his music throughout his life. This has left a legacy that will live on forever in the hearts and minds of people all over the world. He was born in a village called Nine Mile in St Ann Parish, Jamaica of mixed ancestry. His father white, his mother black. He was lead singer and songwriter for the Reggae Band The Wailers, a trio consisting of himself, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer. Some of their best known songs are Buffalo Soldier, Three Little Birds, Could you be Love, Sun is Shining, Soul Rebel War and Exodus. Bob Marley is remembered for his one love Rastafarian message and his great reggae music. The compilation album Legend, released in 1984 is the best selling reggae album of all time, selling twenty million copies.
